Walt Disney World for Children
But isn't all for children I hear you ask. There are some parts that adults will really appreciate but others are designed so that different age groups can get the most out of it.
Fantasyland has many of the attractions that are most popular with children and Mickey's Toontown Fair is a great place to meet characters. Children love to collect the characters autographs so the first thing you should buy is an autograph book and large thick pen (easier for the characters to grip). Disney now sell some lovely books where you can combine the autograph with a picture of your child.
These new attractions will be loved by kids of all ages:
Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial teaches pirates in the making to take a test.
Woody's Cowboy Camp allows children to join their favourite Toy Story Characters for a hoedown.
Lets Have a Ball Happily Ever After Party is a dance competition judged by no less than Sleeping Beauty
The Living Seas have become The Living Seas with Nemo and Friends. This gives the chance for kids to go under the sea into a magical world that the whole family can share. They get a chance to talk with their favourite turtle, Crush in a show that is original everytime. The humour will be enjoyed by adults too.
If you want to see characters, then don't miss the characters near the entrance to World Showcase at lunchtime.
The High School Musical Pep Rally meanders through the park and gives you a chance to join them and dance.
Honey I Shrunk the Kids is the best themed play area where you and your children shrink to the size of ants and slide down film, jump between leaves and get splashed by huge raindrops.
A popular activity is searching for hidden Mickeys in all the theme parks. Hidden Mickey's are the distinctive set of circles that look like Mickey's head and ears. The imagineers have hidden them all over the park and the fun is finding them, but if you would like a few clues then buy Steven Barrett's book called Hidden Mickey's for some useful tips.
There is a giant play area where children can dig Dinosaur bones and burn off energy chasing around Dinoland. Nearby is the closest that Disney comes to a funfair.
Camp Mickey is where you will find your favourite characters, the most popular being Lilo and Stitch at the entrance.
